ACT 1:
This story starts with the sun.
The sun that as the same way as you see it, shining in the morning, Glenn also saw it. He would spend every morning just admiring it and somehow he could feel a warm connection between him and that big and powerful star. Sadly, Glenn knew that those joyful mornings were near the end.
At least that was what he learned since he was a kid.
His mum would read him everynight, about why the sun was shinying less and less.
The legend said that some human beings were being born with the power of the sun, a rare and selfish magic that was taking away the right to the sun and heat from those who weren’t born with it.
He was told to stay away from “glowies”, the name that humans gave to these glowing and dangerous people. It was told that the sun was being protected by some anti-glow agents that would do what it takes to save the star, but nobody knew who they were.
Glenn knew that glowies were the bad guys but he couldn't help but think about what it would be like to have the power of the bright star inside him.
Everyday his father would tell him. “Stay on the dark side of the road and if you see any walking light, run from it”
ACT 2:
When he turned 18, he felt that something was not right.
He could feel something warm inside him, maybe in his heart?
While blowing the candles, in the dark he felt like exploding like his body was about to become the candle itself so he decides to go to bed and sleep.
He said goodbye and left to his room.
Confused, he turned off the light but… the light didn't leave the room. Glenn was glowing.
And in complete shock he breaks the silence of that scene saying “I’m a glowie”
For a while Glenn just stared back at himself in the mirror thinking how much trouble he would probably be in.
Then he remembered the book that was shown to him as a kid and went straight to it.
Even if the stories were not making him on of the good guys, it also contain some information about “the first glowie” that ever existed. When Glenn realised, the sun was already rising and there was just one thing he could do, find him.
Using the clues from the book, he walked for the whole day until the next city.
Unfortunatly it was getting dark and Glenn was in dangerous. There were anti-glow agents everywhere and it wouldn’t take long until they could caught him.
ACT 3:
Suddently Glenn feels something pushing him. Was he captured? Was he hurt? No, he was saved. And they were exactly like him, they were glowing.
Glenn was finally with his own kind.
The old man was also there and grabed his and showed him the real truth about “glowies” They were born to save the sun and not to distroy it. The real legend said that the glowies had to hold their power together on the highest mountain on the highest moment of the sun, during the sun eclipse. And it would happen on that day.
They decided to leave in the morning, for their mission but glenn knew they wouldn’t make it.
Something had to be done. He told them to continue their way while he goes back to the city.
There, he just decides to trust peoples heart and write a lot of notes that saying “HELP US SAVE THE SUN” and flew them away on the streets.
The anti-glow agents caught him but he knew he did what he had to do.
Different from what he expected, everybody reunited to help him and left the town to help the other glowies. Now it was possible, together they would make it. The eclipes was starting, it got dark but there was light, the glowies holded their hand together and glenn felt the real power of the sun.
