ROLE: Senior Fashion Designer
YEAR: 2022/2023
As a fashion designer for women's activewear, I faced a new challenge to create a collection with the existing materials that are already in stock. My objective was to create something entirely new and unique from the materials and colors we used in past collections.
Despite the limitations, I was determined to create something fresh and unique that would stand out in the competitive world of fashion. As I explored the available colors, I found inspiration in Tommy Hilfiger's recognizable color palette. I was drawn to the bold and vibrant shades of red, white, and blue, which reminded me of the classic American style that is synonymous with tennis.
The collection includes a range of pieces, including leggings, sport bra’s, tennis dresses, crop tops, sweatpants and sweatshirts all designed to provide maximum comfort and support during any workout. Each piece is designed with the athlete in mind, providing maximum flexibility, moisture-wicking, and breathability.
In conclusion, my fashion collection for women's sportswear is a testament to my creativity and resourcefulness as a designer. By using existing materials to create something new, I was able to produce a collection that is both fashionable and functional, inspiring women to feel confident and empowered while pursuing their fitness goals.
