A window is a part of our house which separates us from the environment outside. It gives us a feeling of openness and connection to the world. We have always been fascinated by the window as it allows us a peek into life outside. Often, they reflect their personal experiences or emotions in their works.
During the Covid-19 lockdown, most residents have suffered from depression, anxiety, loneliness etc. But the window gives them the feeling of being connected to the outside world. The window allows them to see the world without physically moving out, which gives them a chance to reconnect with nature.
This image represents the isolation astronauts feel when they are inside a trailer house with all their instruments, knowing they are far away from their destination. It also represents their dreams of exploring the universe and living among the stars.
It was created by composing some soft materials and my custom miniatures. The astronaut has their spacesuit ready and wants to travel. The rocket above their house is just a conception of what is happening inside their head.
