UNIT.home is a residential complex in a first innovative park UNIT City in Kyiv. This complex is oriented to young, open-minded people, who work and live in UNIT City, which is situated not far from the city center. Residential complex is divided into several stages , each of which consists of separate quarters. My task was to design a 22-storey building - dominant part of a residential quarter of the first project stage. The main challenge of designing this building was that almost all engineering systems, which supplied whole quarter, were supposed to be situated in the tallest building of the quarter. This task requires a high level of professional skills for all participants of the project and high precession in 3d and building information modelling. According to the client`s task resindential complex consists of 1,2,3 bed apartments with spacious balconies and terraces. Ground floor is comercial. There is an entrance space there, cafe and offices. Basement floors are used for technical rooms and storage space.

With the help of BIM technologies we managed to unite all architectural, structural and engineering solutions in one content building.
We placed all engineering shafts near stair and lift unit, it helped to realese place for apartments around it. For all technical rooms was used -1 basement level of the building and also we had to design some ventilation chambers on the roof in order to hide engineering noisy equipment there and to protect the building from the noise. In order to conserve a pure silhouette we constructed a "fake" empty technical level, which hide other technical equipment.
We divided our building into two parts. Each part has an own facade architectural technique. Facade design allowed to make a diversity of apartments planning with different area for all client`s demands. Last floors are intended for bigger apartments with spacious terraces and great views.
