If you ask certain (ahem) members of the Behance team, you can never go wrong in the gift-giving arena if jewelry is involved. This logic applied to the fact that Christmas is hot on our heels, it seemed more than appropriate to shine a little spotlight on the wide array of sparkling gems, shiny metals and pure genius representing this category in the Behance Network.

If you've ever wondered what would happen if you dipped second-hand fur into liquid porcelain, you can stop right now: the result is the stunning, coral-like forms dubbed "Urban Cast-Away" by Dror Benshetrit for Marithé + François Girbaud and Construkt2. These beautifully fluid one-of-a-kind rings and necklaces certainly wouldn't go unnoticed by their lucky recipients or consequent passers-by.

Jewelry design is a natural format for collaboration, so it's no surprise that the collection jeweler Jen Tozer designed with fashion designer Camilla Staerk is incredibly wearable, decorously modern and instantly covetable.

For the tech-heads, the iRing is a concept by Victor Soto, designed to control the playback functionality of your iPod or iPhone, straight from your fingertips. If waiting around for that to be a reality isn't quite your speed, the Sally, Todd and Harry pendants by Jessica Owen bring a little bit of a Pacman feel to your neckline, via anodized aluminum.

Folks looking for badass street appeal will be instantly drawn to the works of Seventh Letter Armor Jewelry; we never knew boltcutters and semi-automatic weapons could be so...hot. Then again, knowing that the alleged leader of one of the west coast's infamous graffiti crews founded Seventh Letter, that makes a lot more sense.

We know it's a little late to pick up most of these in time for Christmas now, but it's well worth checking out the rest of the jewelry presented in the Behance Network -- after all, there's no knowing when that next birthday will sneak up on you or when your next visit to the doghouse will be...
Appreciate It!
