The realm of fashion is alive and well here in the Behance Network, fueled by the many facets and aspects of such a subject; it is something that stretches far beyond the actual design of clothing, accessories and ephemera, incorporating photography, styling and digital retouching into the mix. We are happy to feature some outstanding projects in all of these areas in this week's spotlight.
Magdalena Kmiecik understands just how photography and styling complement organically-inspired, highly sculptural clothing designs, as does Sahar Freemantle when showcasing a whimsical collection of millinery. Chris Rushing lets the tees do the talking in his work for Family Force 5 in Atlanta and Lincoln Maine takes a more androgynous approach to styling for his tailored, preppy menswear collection.
Everyone knows an outfit without accessories is like an emperor without his clothes. Carga's line of felt carryalls has been the subject of much envy over the past while, and we foresee their leather edition collecting just as much acclaim in the coming months. Mikey Toledano channels a little American Apparel flavor in the campaign for her handmade ties -- we'll let you decide whether or not this is a good thing. Young Meagher's collection of vintage sewing tools and vignettes remind us about the roots of all good clothing design, and Seventh Letter Armor Jewelry embraces its inner badass with a line of gun-inspired silver.
Let's say that shoes are more your speed; Skins features an innovative line of lightweight designs, beautifully photographed in black and white to highlight the simplicity and elegance of the shoe. Sruli Recht's handcrafted boots are beyond luxe and perfect for winter and for all you sneakerheads, be ready to drool over Karoly Kirafalvi's line of custom sneaks. Get a tissue. We understand completely.
If you're thinking that Sue Yerou's digital retouching work looks like it belongs in a Ben Sherman ad campaign, it's because it is in a Ben Sherman ad campaign (reading before perusing will also tell you that, too.). Carlos Santos gives us a sneak peek behind the scenes with before and after shots of his work. Christine Matsunuga shows us through her shoot for Bomund Magazine that at the core of any successful photoshoot is a stylist who makes it all come together.
Finally, we would be remiss without mentioning the work of Montalbetti+Campbell; the award-winning duo has bought such innovation and integrity to portrait and commercial photography that it's scored them commissions with numerous publications and garnered them awards such as the Canon AIPP Australia Advertising Photographer of the Year and a Gold Award at the New York Festivals Advertising Awards -- a true example that a great collaboration can take one's work to levels sometimes unreachable alone.

Leesa Leva's watercolors feature the likes of the Olsen twins (who are arguably -- and surprisingly -- becoming fashion icons in their own right) and illustrations for trendy fash-blog Facehunter; Silja Gotz's work has graced the pages of Nylon Magazine, the New Yorker and numerous European publications.
