Serial Cut is a creative studio in Madrid, established in 1999 by Sergio del Puerto, focused on art direction + design + illustration. Their clients include Rolling Stone Magazine, Lucky Strike, and Chrysler among many others.

After a misguided stint as a thespian at Carnegie Mellon and New York Universities, Shoshana Berger received a BA in English from NYU, and an MA in English from the University of Toronto. She came up with the idea for ReadyMade magazine in 2000 and has since served as its editor in chief. Berger is the co-author of ReadyMade: How to Make Almost Everything (Clarkson Potter, 2005) and contributed to three other books in 2006: Before the Mortgage, World Changing, and Tease. As a journalist in the Before ReadyMade Era, Berger began her career at Wired in the mid 1990s, then went on to write for The New York Times Magazine, Spin, Salon, The San Francisco Chronicle, Business 2.0, Travel and Leisure, and many other periodicals. In 1999, she worked for a year as a "coolhunter," for the advertising agency Young & Rubicam--a sin for which she is still atoning. Berger has been a guest lecturer at Stanford, the University of California, California College of the Arts, and the Dallas Museum of Art, is a fellow of the British American project, and was a nominator for the MacArthur "Genius" Award.

Eric is passionate about ideas and experience. He grew up enamored with creativity and business, which led him to study at the Emily Carr Institute. He now guides creative at smashLAB while fostering an atmosphere of pragmatism and design-focused thinking. He has directed a number of interactive projects for start-ups and national organizations. Ryan Sovereign and William Beck, both graduates of The Rhode Island School of Design in Industrial Design & Sculpture respectively, have been long time collaborators both musically and visually since their first meeting. In the Spring of 2005, the idea of the Sovereign Beck collection was formed. Drawing upon both the traditional and the classically abstract ideals of tie design, the Sovereign Beck line of neckwear was created. With the concept of giving a new expression to conservative menswear, Ryan and Will have fashioned a line of ties that can be both understated and provocative, classic and cutting edge. Every design has been carefully realized by the artists to be not only timeless, but also a statement of individuality. Created in limited quantity and with only the highest quality in mind, each tie is a statement.
