ROJO is dedicated to the promotion and support of the arts in Barcelona, Spain and São Paulo, Brazil. ROJO coordinates collaborative projects, hosts events, and publishes an internationally distributed textless art magazine.
ROJO® has a global/local vision on creativity and art, and produces its projects with the collaboration of the best and uprising artists from around the globe in order to achieve creative excellence.
ROJO®'s most known artistic expression is a quarterly printed magazine made completely out of contributions by worldwide artists, and a collection of monographic artist books that ROJO® presents with events in cities around the world. ROJO® also organizes cultural events, experimental music festivals, art exhibitions, and audiovisual installations.
ROJO® opened ROJO®artspace in May 31st 2007 - a new multifunctional creative public space at Eixample in the heart of Barcelona. ROJO®artspace is a vanguard space that programs monthly exhibitions and audio-visual events of international artists, and serves as neuralgic center for the events and public presentations of the new printed issues and ROJO® special projects.
ROJO® is David Quiles Guilló, Marc Mascort i Boix and Alejandra Raschkes interacting directly with more that 600 contributors from around the world and networking with ROJO® own associated directors locally in France, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, Denmark, Netherlands, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Portugal, Bulgary, Romania, Estonia, Serbia, Russia, Turkey, Israel, Canada, USA, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand and Australia.
