Australian-born Lincoln Mayne plays a major role in the new school of design and the constantly changing downtown NY art and fashion scene. His designs can be described as a melange of textures, and colors with a strong emphasis on botanical mark making. Mayne has become a multi-media artist with a fine arts approach to design.
His unconventional approach and his status as an underground anomaly resulted in numerous collaborations with high profile names such as VH1, Bumble and Bumble, and Sony. Mayne's success inspired him to form a more mature, self-titled menswear line which subsequently attracted the attention of Onward Kashiyama and others including Mick Jagger, Green Day, Angie Stone, and Calvin Klein.
