Action Method

The Action Method is based on the premise that all projects have three key components:
(1) Action Steps
(2) Backburner Items
(3) Reference Items
The Action Method helps us capture and manage these three components of every project for effective
project management. The Action Method also proposes various ways to prioritize, delegate, and use the power of design to increase productivity.
Originally developed in 2005 by the Behance Research team, the Action Method has become a simple and customizable approach for project management, with growing popularity in the creative professional community. Users of the Action Method are encouraged to share their customizations and best practices with other users at the Action Method page. Behance is also designing a series of products, software, and a seminar focused on the Action Method.
